Pinellas County residents can start a library-card application online, but the temporary account has limits. Tarpon Springs Public Library says it allows up to five holds on physical items and one digital checkout on Libby.

To obtain a permanent card and full access, visit a Pinellas Public Library Cooperative member library within 14 days. Bring a photo ID and proof of your current Pinellas County address.

Residents can also apply entirely in person at a member library. For people who have recently moved, gathering those documents before visiting helps complete the signup in one trip. The official card page below contains the online application and account links. Tarpon Springs Public Library is at 138 East Lemon Street.
